From Interstate 84 West, take exit 19. At the bottom of
the ramp, turn right onto Route 312. At the junction with Route 6, go right
onto Route 6. Follow Route 6 into Carmel
until you come to the intersection with Route 52; go right onto Route 52.
Proceed about one block to a traffic light, which is the intersection with
Route 301; turn left onto Route 301. Follow Route 301 across the causeway
(approx 2 miles). At the end of the causeway take a sharp right onto Gypsy Trail Road.
Proceed up Gypsy Trail Road
to the park on the right. Total time from the interstate is approximately 15
minutes. There is free parking at the site.
From the Taconic Parkway, take the exit for Route
301/Carmel. Before the causeway, turn left on to Gypsy Trail Road and the park will be
on your right.
